The map DVDs are for the systems from around 2004/2005 to late 2008 that have the whole of Europe on the disks. The updates for Hard Disk COMAND are for the systems from Mid 2008 onward with hard disk built in The Audio-50-APS CDs are for the black and white navigation systems from 2004/2005 to late 2008 (1-2 countries per disk) The Teleatlas CDs are for the pre 2004/2005 cars with colour navigation (1-2 countries per disk).

A/B/C/CLK/ML/GL/R/forfour/Vito/Viano/Sprinter It is put into the navigation DVD drive in the boot (trunk) of the car. It is not suitable for cars that have a CD that only covers one to three countries in the head unit (see our Navigation CD section) and not suitable for the latest MY2009 facelift cars that have a built in hard disk. This is the very latest map for A, B, W203 C, CLK, ML, GL, R, Smart forfour, Sprinter, Vito and Viano vehicles. It covers mainland Europe, with TMC for many countries including UK. It is known as the '2017/2018' version 19 Map DVD and was released in late December 2017.
For SL/SLK/E/CLS/S/CL please see the our other COMAND APS map DVDs. If your current map disk just covers 1-3 countries then you have the CD based system and this disk is not suitable for you, please see our Map CD section. If your car has the Model Year 2009 onward (from Mid 2008) facelifted units with built in hard disk, again it is not suitable for your vehicle. Version 2017/2018 navigation map update disks for W204 C and GLK and SLS AMG class with the COMAND-APS navigation system. This is not for cars built before October 2008, as those COMAND units have too small hard disks.
